There is a uniform assistance program in the Saint Bernard parish. Parents can register at the St. Bernard Council Chambers from June 27 to June 29. They are available between 9am and 3pm. Pre-registration is required. This assistance is limited to students attending public schools in the parish. All applications are subject to income restrictions, eligibility programs, and funding. Applications will only be started if all documentation is submitted. That includes: Valid driver’s license or ID for all household members over the age of 18. If your driver’s license or ID indicates a non-parish address, please bring alternative proof of residency (utility bill, etc.) Social security cards for ALL members of the birth certificate of the household for each child (or proof of guardianship*) Verifiable proof of income for all household members over the age of 18 (Authorization Letter or 4 Consecutive Current Paychecks) Current Food Stamp Award Letter (if applicable) Food Stamp Prize Letters will list all household members . Valid Proof of Enrollment St. Bernard Parish Public School: Final Report Card or Proof of Registration. Any applicant who does not have proof of registration will be referred to the St. Bernard Parish School Board for registration verification. Anyone in the household over the age of 18 who is unemployed must complete and sign a “Zero Income” form with a referral to the St. Bernard Workforce Commission for processing.
