A dog obsessed with green beans has left the internet after his owner sends a simple message hilarious video†
the video was shared Monday on r/WhatsWrongWithYourDog, where it has since received more than 24,000 upvotes and hundreds of comments.
The 25 second video features Kasey the English Black labrador grabbing different green beans. Kasey lives with his owner Kevin Nolan in Westchester, New York.
Nolan told news week“Kasey has always been the sweetest dog ever, but when it comes to green beans, if you keep one up to make him jump, he’ll be sure not to miss them on his first bite.”

A few years earlier, one of Nolan’s videos of Kasey enjoying a green bean got viral attention, so he decided to do a “chompilation” of his pup grabbing the green beans.
While green beans may seem like an unusual dog snack, the American Kennel Club (AKC) says green beans are safe for dogs to eat, and they seem to love it, too.
“Chickened, steamed, raw or canned, all types of green beans are safe for dogs to eat as long as they are pure,” according to the AKC: “Not only are green beans safe for dogs, vets recommend them as a healthy treat.”
In stitches with the video, Redditors went to the comments. One said, “From soft to nom-nom eyes in 0.0001 seconds,” while another wrote, “Dogs always eat like we haven’t fed them in 30 days.”
Another viewer said it was “the video I didn’t know I needed”.
“This is insane cute‘ said another commenter.
Green beans are packed with vitamins and minerals, including protein, iron, calcium and vitamins B6, A, C and K. While your pup may not necessarily need these extra nutrients, they can still be a perfect food alternative to dog biscuits.
According to VCA Animal Hospitals, approximately 25-30 percent of American canines are obese. This can have a devastating impact on dogs, leading to problems such as cancer, faster joint degeneration, urinary bladder stones and premature death.
If you’re concerned about your pet’s weight, it’s always a good idea to ask your vet for advice.
“Anytime pause this video for a laugh,” another commenter said on the viral post.
Another Redditor joked that the video was the “dog version of the shark in Jaws”.
“I can’t stop giggling,” another viewer joked, “The face. The sound.”
“I love seeing every video of Kasey going viral, especially as he’s getting older now,” Nolan said, “So all the kind words in the comments, people telling us how happy our videos make them, and even some video comments of people laughing at our videos makes it so much fun to put the time and effort into new ideas.”
