Top Performing Leveraged/Inverse ETFs: 06/26/2022

These were the best performing leveraged and inverse ETFs last week. Note that due to leverage, these types of funds can move quickly. Always do your homework.

1. LABU – Direxion Daily S&P Biotech Bull 3x Shares

the biotech fund, LABU rose more than 45% last week on the back of market recovery. The overall biotech sector gained 4% in the past five days as growth stocks typically benefit from lower bond yields.

2. WEBL – Direxion Daily Dow Jones Internet Bull 3X Shares

WEBL providing 3x leveraged daily exposure to an index of the largest US Internet companies made it to the list as technology and growth stocks recovered after signs of market recovery. Investors also expect a lower rate hike due to weak economic data.

3. SINVETFMG Prime 2X Daily Inverse Junior Silver Miners ETF

SINV which tracks -2x the daily price movements of an index of small-cap silver mining and exploration companies, which are up more than ~31% in the past week. Silver metal prices continue to be impacted by recession fears and expectations of rate hikes.

4. FNGU – MicroSectors FANG+™ Index 3X Leveraged ETN

FNGU offers exposure to five core technology companies – Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix and Alphabet Inc., as well as five other technology growth stocks, including Alibaba, Baidu, NVIDIA, Tesla and Twitter. Technology and growth stocks gained as investors shook off some fear, driven by lower-than-expected rate hikes. Yields on US government bonds also fell.

5. NAIL – Direxion Daily Homebuilders & Supplies Bull 3X Shares

The NAIL ETF which focuses on the US housing segment yielded more than 27% last week, supported by lower bond yields and a general market recovery. The real estate sector has gained ~3.9% in the past five days.

6. BULZ – MicroSectors Solactive CANINE TOOTH & Innovation 3X Leveraged ETN

The BULZ ETF was one of the best performing leveraged ETFs with returns of over 26%. The ETF focuses on US-based top tech companies The tech sector gained 0.8% last week on the back of a decline in US Treasury yields and lower expectations for rate hikes.

7. SKYU – ProShares Ultra Nasdaq Cloud Computing ETF

ProShares Ultra Nasdaq Cloud Computing aims for daily investment returns, equivalent to 2x the daily performance of the ISE CTA Cloud Computing Index, was another technology focused ETF on last week’s list of best-performing ETFs.

8. HEALING – Direxion Daily Healthcare Bull 3x Shares

The HEALING ETF offers 3x daily leveraged exposure to an index made up of health stocks. The healthcare sector gained ~3.9% on lower bond yields and expectations of moderate rate hikes to fight inflation.

9. PILL – Direxion Daily Pharmaceutical & Medical Bull 3X Shares

The PILL ETF tracks the performance of companies engaged in the research, development, production, sale or distribution of all types of drugs and medicines. The ETF was one of the top-performing leveraged ETFs bringing in ~25% this week. The healthcare sector was the third best performing sector with a weekly gain of ~3.9%.

10. CLDL – Direxion Daily Cloud Computing Bull 2X Shares

The Direxion Daily Cloud Computing Bull 2X stocks aiming for daily investment returns, off 200% of the Indxx’s performance United States Cloud Computing Index, also listed backed by lower bond yields.
