Doha: QIIB has announced the launch of a new offering for Instant Personal Finance through its digital channels (QIIB mobile and internet banking) with exceptional features including a competitive financing rate and a reward Avios from Qatar Airways Privilege Club.
By applying for this offer, which is valid until August 31, 2022, QIIB customers can obtain Instant Personal Finance through QIIB mobile and internet banking. Each customer will be rewarded 10,000 Avios from Qatar Airways Privilege Club for every QR50,000 in funding with a minimum funding period of 4 years and multiples thereof, and will receive 10,000 Avios for every QR100,000 funding with a funding period between 2 years to 4 years and its multiples.
Under the terms of the new offer, customers who obtain financing can benefit from a grace period of up to 12 months for Qatari nationals and three months for expatriates, calculated from the financing term. After meeting the required standards and uploading the necessary documents to QIIB mobile banking or internet banking, the financing amount is transferred to the customer’s account in real time.
On the occasion of the launch of QIIB’s premier financing offer via QIIB mobile and internet banking, QIIB Chief Executive Officer Dr Abdulbasit Ahmed Al Shaibei said: “We are pleased to launch a new personal financing offer through our digital channels in partnership with Qatar Airways Privilege Club. This offer is in line with the Bank’s guidelines to promote the digital transformation culture and encourage customers to use digital channels, given their various benefits, including their convenience and efficiency.”
He added: “Increasing customer demand for QIIB Digital Channels is our driving force behind launching such offerings. QIIB has established a high-performing digital infrastructure as part of the execution of much of the bank’s digital transformation plan. Most of QIIB’s services and products are available through the digital platforms and some operations have been fully digitized to meet the preferences of the customers who want to carry out such operations without having to visit the bank’s branches.” He emphasized that: “The QIIB Finance Offer meets the requirements of our customers. It was launched after studying market needs and monitoring clients’ ambitions to obtain Personal Finance with competitive features, flexible terms and fast financing turnaround. To obtain Personal Finance through our Digital Channels, the customer who meets the conditions only needs to upload the necessary documents to QIIB Mobile or Internet Banking and the request is processed in real time. An instant text message is sent to the customer’s mobile phone stating that the necessary financing has been obtained. The customer can apply at any time around the clock without having to limit themselves to the official working hours of a branch.”
He continued: “The Personal Finance offering through QIIB Digital Channels has an added value represented by the partnership and collaboration with Qatar Airways, the world’s largest airline, by customers who obtain Personal Finance under this offering, a reward of up to 20,000 Avios to be awarded for any financing of QR100,000. This will help the customers get to their desired destinations, especially as the summer and holiday season approach.”
